We are proud to introduce OneScan 9.0 — the latest release of LSPedia’s flagship compliance platform.
OneScan is a secure, cloud-based solution built for the pharmaceutical supply chain. It integrates seamlessly with any ERP or warehouse management software. It enables easy onboarding for EPCIS data. And it scales with your business through a growing library of add-on modules. Whether you’re a manufacturer, wholesaler, 3PL, health system, government agency, pharmacy, or other dispenser, OneScan is built to fit your workflow.
OneScan 9.0 is our most ambitious release yet. It includes two featured modules and ten platform enhancements spanning compliance, automation, integrations, and usability. Here’s a look at what’s new.
Featured Modules
Enhanced Suspect Order Monitoring (SOM)
Enhanced SOM helps manufacturers and distributors monitor controlled substance orders. It evaluates orders in real time. It flags unusual orders based on thresholds you define. A centralized dashboard makes it easy to review flagged orders and export reports for compliance and audit purposes.
Serialized Recall Management
Part of the Serialized Lifecycle Management suite, Serialized Recall is AI-powered recall execution built on OneScan. It automates signal detection, notifications, quarantine workflows, and reconciliation. Tracking happens down to the lot and serial number level. Early adopters report up to 90% reduction in manual recall labor.
Notifications & Alerting
Per-Connection Email Templates for EPCIS File Processing
You can now set different notification templates for each trading partner. Each template is tied to a specific processing outcome. The right people get the right message — automatically. Custom templates take priority over company-wide defaults.
Operational Efficiency
Automated EPCIS File Routing for Pharmacy Pro Locations
EPCIS routing now configures itself when a Pharmacy Pro location is created or its sGLN is updated. This setup is now instantaneous.
Pharmacy Pro Supplier Onboarding Automation
OneScan now automates supplier onboarding communications. It generates the onboarding email, allows a pre-send review, and stores the supplier–account–location relationship in the system.
Drop Shipment EPCIS File Processing
A new Dropship Owning Party Exception lets legitimate drop shipment EPCIS files process without triggering investigator rule 1214p.
Investigator for Logistics — Invoice Field Support
Invoice numbers are now supported across the Investigator for Logistics workflow. This includes email templates, the manual add UI, order header search, and the API.
Integration & API
API Enhancements
Three updates improve ERP and system integrations. EPCIS files can now be retrieved by ShipmentID. The GET Orders endpoint now supports date range filtering. Processing Date and Transaction Date are now separate fields for more precise querying.
Regulatory Compliance
Streamlined FDA Form 3911 Workflow
The full 3911 lifecycle — Initial, Follow-Up, and Termination — now lives in one unified interface. Forms auto-populate from OneScan records and prior submissions. A PDF download is available at any stage.
EU/US Target Market Support & Regulated Product Name
A new Target Market field on the Product record lets you choose US (DSCSA) or EU (FMD) compliance. The Regulated Product Name can also be shown directly in the EPCIS Status view.
Usability
Improved Picking Validation
If a picker selects a unit tied to another outbound order, OneScan now shows a clear, specific error. Staff can identify and fix the conflict on the spot.
Edge Mobile — Order Fully Received Indicator
Edge Mobile now shows a visual indicator when all items on a purchase order have been scanned. No more manual quantity checks to confirm an order is complete.
