Pharmacy Owners Alliance (POA) was founded in 2004 by a group of Medicine Shoppe franchise owners and has grown into a not-for-profit association of more than 560 member stores — including franchisees, former franchisees, and independent pharmacies across 36 states. POA provides in-depth analysis of each member's purchasing patterns, advises on purchasing and rebate decisions, and helps members navigate everything from supplies and systems to security and business transitions — all in service of one mission.
